National Events

The State Associations for pistol and small-bore rifle conduct National Championships from time to time at BISC.

Previous National Championships (since becoming BISC):

• 2018 Pistol Australia ISSF Australian Pistol Championships
• 2018 Target Rifle Australia National Championships
• 2020 and 2021 Pistol Australia Nationals could not take place due to Covid
• 2024 Target Rifle National Championships
• 2024 Pistol Australia National Championships
• The next National Championships will be Target Pistol Australia ISSF National Championships 16 – 23 May 2026

International Events

BISC is an international class shooting range facility and in 2018 was the host venue for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Prior to this upgrade the venue also hosted a portion of the 1982 Commonwealth Games and became a great base and training venue leading up to the Sydney Olympics.
